Information for Scottish taxi operators
LEZ Compliant Solution
Low Emission Zones (LEZ) have been introduced across Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, to improve air quality and protect public health.
Diesel powered taxis must meet Euro 6 emission standards in order to be compliant. The Scottish Government are helping taxi drivers to meet these LEZ standards through grant funding.
Our CVRAS approved retrofit solution replaces the diesel fuel system in non-compliant TX4 cabs with a brand new, Euro 6, petrol-LPG engine.
Applications for funding for the new financial year (2022-23) is now open
What is included?
Brand new 2.0L turbo petrol-LPG engine, featuring our latest GEN3 system, specifically adapted to operate on LPG.
Including a brand new exhaust system, catalytic converter, radiator, full tank of LPG and Petrol, testing, wheelchair ramp cover, tyre repair kit, 2year/80k mile warranty, CVRAS & UKLPG registration.
*When using the current grant of £10,000
